Injury marks are very noticeable on his body

New photos have surfaced showing Renukaswamy, a 33-year-old auto driver, moments before his alleged murder in June, reportedly at the behest of Kannada actor Darshan Thoogudeepa. The images depict Renukaswamy shirtless, visibly pleading for his life. Parked trucks can be seen in the background, and an injury mark is noticeable on his body.

Renukaswamy’s body was found near a flyover in Bengaluru on June 9. According to police, he was kidnapped and murdered after sending offensive social media messages to actor Pavithra Gowda, rumored to be Darshan’s partner. Renukaswamy was reportedly a fan of Darshan before the conflict arose.

The post-mortem revealed that Renukaswamy was brutally attacked with wooden clubs and died from “shock and haemorrhage” due to multiple blunt force injuries. He had also suffered a ruptured testicle after being kicked and was subjected to electric shocks before his death.

Fifteen people, including Darshan and Pavithra Gowda, have been arrested in connection with the murder. Darshan’s judicial custody is scheduled to end on September 9. The Bengaluru Police submitted a chargesheet on Wednesday, containing around 230 pieces of evidence, including bloodstains found on Darshan’s clothing and Pavithra’s footwear. This development marks a crucial stage in the high-profile investigation.
