Photos and videos shared from the event captured the couple exchanging rings in a touching display of affection. Priya, known for her active role in social service and politics, and Rinku, celebrated for his explosive batting, appeared radiantly happy, standing together in traditional attire before their loved ones.

The ceremony featured guests including SP chief Akhilesh Yadav, MPs Dimple Yadav and Jaya Bachchan, along with state leaders and cricketers. Security was paramount: guests entered only after barcode-based pass checks, and private security personnel supplemented the hotel’s arrangements to ensure privacy and smooth execution.

Before the event, the couple spent quiet moments in prayer together, reflecting their intention to start this chapter with blessings and serenity. Priya’s father confirmed that both families have formally agreed to the union and planned the future celebration.

Rinku and Priya were introduced through mutual friends over a year ago and have maintained a private yet evolving relationship since then. Today’s engagement cements their commitment, and they are now preparing for a grand wedding on November 18, 2025, to be held at the Taj Hotel in Varanasi.
