Sandalwood actor Rishab Shetty cast his vote in the third phase of the election from the Byndoor Taluk that falls under the Shivamogga Lok Sabha constituency. He cast his vote in the Kiradi High School. 

In an interaction with the media after having cast his vote, Rishab also threw light on his upcoming project titled ‘Kantara Chapter 1.’ “I will not reveal much about the plot of the film. It is a theatrical experience. Hombale Films will provide an update at the apt time. The production of the film has commenced. I am happy with the way it has progressed. It is proceeding as per our plan. A bigger unit is working on the film in comparison to the first instalment. We have greater responsibility,” he said.

Rishab also praised the production house Homable Films on this occasion. “I am fortunate to be associated with Hombale Films. Talented technicians are working on the project. The production is happening in a stagewise manner. I want to thank people for the success of Kantara through my work rather than my words. Kanata was a huge success at a time when I did not face any pressure. Cinema is a learning process. I have grown my hair and beard for the film,’ he said. He stated that the film is mostly being shot in the Karavali region.
