A significant development unfolded early this morning as India deployed war tanks and Bofors artillery guns to the Punjab border, signaling heightened military readiness. In response, Pakistan has also positioned its own tanks and heavy weapons near the border, intensifying tensions and creating a war-like atmosphere across the Line of Control (LOC).

Adding to the preparedness, India has installed powerful jammers along its western border to disrupt the navigation systems of Pakistani fighter jets. Pakistan reportedly uses the Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS), supported by satellites from Russia and the United States. The deployment of these jammers is likely to hinder Pakistan's ability to execute precise air strikes.
This escalation follows the horrific Pahalgam terror attack carried out by Pakistani terrorists, which has enraged millions of Indians. The Indian government, under Prime Minister Modi’s leadership, has convened multiple high-level meetings to decide on strategic counter-measures. The military has been granted full operational freedom, and India is determined to inflict serious damage in retaliation.
Pakistan, appearing alarmed by India’s firm stance, has cancelled all civilian flight operations and declared a no-fly zone over Islamabad and Lahore. India has also blocked Pakistani aircraft from entering Indian airspace. Both countries are now engaged in military drills, further escalating the standoff.
