Ambareesh had previously gifted a similar cradle to Yash’s daughter, Aira, during her christening. Made from high-quality teak wood and coated with chemical-free paint that lasts for years, the cradle was valued at over ₹1.5 lakh. The late actor had always dreamt of rocking his grandson to sleep in such a cradle. Remembering his words, Yash has now fulfilled his wish by gifting the cradle for the newborn’s ceremony.
The tradition of crafting these exquisite cradles originates from Kalaghatagi. Ambareesh had once personally requested Narayan Kalal of Belgaum to arrange a special cradle for Yash’s daughter. Kalal then entrusted Sridhar Sahukar of Kalaghatagi, whose family crafted the cradle with great care and precision.
Now, continuing this meaningful tradition, Yash’s gift stands as a touching tribute to Ambareesh’s memory. The christening ceremony is expected to be a grand affair, celebrating both the family’s legacy and the deep bond between Yash and the Ambareesh family.
