Three youngsters had earlier died due to electrocution while attempting to install a banner of Sandalwood star Yash on his birthday. 4 others were grievously injured. They received treatment in a hospital. Yash has now offered assistance to the injured fans.
Yash visited the Suranagai village in the Gadag district of Karnataka on the day the tragedy unfolded. Yash had stalled progress on projects he was working on and made the visit a top priority on that day. He offered words of support to the families of the deceased who were in grief.
He later visited the injured fans in the hospital. He noted down details of their bank account. He had promised them of providing appropriate assistance. Staying true to his words, Rs 1 lakh each have been deposited to 4 bank accounts.
The tragedy occurred on January 7th. Rs 5 lakh was provided to the families of the deceased.
