Renowned filmmaker Rohit Shetty has officially concluded the shooting of his latest action-packed installment, 'Singham Again,' starring Ajay Devgn. Shetty marked the milestone by sharing a nostalgic behind-the-scenes reel on Monday, reflecting on the franchise’s inception 13 years ago.
Shetty, 50, has directed two previous films in the franchise, 'Singham' (2011) and 'Singham Returns' (2014), which laid the foundation for his expansive cop universe, including characters played by Akshay Kumar in 'Sooryavanshi' and Ranveer Singh in 'Simmba.'

One of his recent video posts featured a montage of memories showcasing Shetty and Devgn’s longstanding collaboration. Shetty reminisced about his three-decade-long association with Devgn, stating, "Today we complete 13 years of 'Singham' and wrap 'Singham Again' with Ajay sir. This is my 13th film with him as a director, but our journey began in the 90s. 33 years later, we are still going strong. See you at the cinemas this Diwali.”
Devgn, 55, reprises his iconic role in 'Singham Again,' joined by an ensemble cast including Kareena Kapoor Khan, Akshay Kumar, Tiger Shroff, Arjun Kapoor, and Deepika Padukone. The film, initially slated for an Independence Day release, has been rescheduled for Diwali, as announced by the filmmakers on social media.
Devgn’s significant presence in Shetty’s filmography is notably prominent in the 'Golmaal' and 'Singham' franchises, solidifying their formidable partnership in Bollywood.
‘Singham Again’ promises to bring high-octane action and drama to theaters this Diwali, continuing the legacy of the beloved franchise.
