Rohit Shetty’s ‘Singham Again’ crosses ₹130 crore mark, becomes director’s 10th blockbuster

Rohit Shetty’s latest release, Singham Again, has surged past the ₹130 crore mark at the box office, cementing itself as Shetty's 10th blockbuster to achieve such a milestone. Released on November 1, this action-packed spectacle has captivated audiences, even as it competed with Anees Bazmee’s Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3.

The film's strong performance over the weekend brought in ₹100 crore, and Shetty took to social media to express his gratitude to fans. On Instagram, he shared a photo of himself in front of a Singham Again poster, writing, “Singham Again, my 10th and fastest 100 cr film… For the past 16 films, one thing that has remained constant is your love. Thank you for all the support and love, humbled.” Shetty also posted images of his previous successes, such as Sooryavanshi, Simmba, Chennai Express, and Golmaal Again, all of which crossed ₹100 crore.

According to Sacnilk, the film collected ₹17.5 crore on its first Monday, following an impressive opening weekend with ₹43.5 crore on Friday, ₹42.5 crore on Saturday, and ₹35.75 crore on Sunday.

Starring a powerhouse cast including Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, and Akshay Kumar, Singham Again continues the story of Bajirao Singham, who sets out to rescue his wife from the clutches of the villain Danger Lanka, solidifying Shetty’s Cop Universe further.
