A grand cradle rituals ceremony was held at Chamundi Hills for the second son of Mysuru royal couple Yaduveer Krishnadatta Chamaraja Wodeyar and Trishika Devi. The event, steeped in tradition and devotion, took place near the Chamundeshwari Temple.
The royal family first offered special puja to Goddess Chamundeshwari. Following the rituals, a cradle was ceremoniously tied to a Sampige tree near the temple. The Cradle rituals ceremony was conducted amidst prayers and cultural rites, with Queen Mother Pramoda Devi Wodeyar gracing the occasion.
The second son of Yaduveer and Trishika was born on October 14, 2023, coinciding with the auspicious day of Dussehra. The couple’s first son, Adyaveer, was born on December 6, 2017.
The Cradle rituals ceremony highlighted the Mysore royal family's continued adherence to their cultural traditions. The event attracted significant attention, as the Wodeyar dynasty remains an iconic symbol of Karnataka's rich heritage.
