With the international air show concluding on February 14, he stressed that such a flight would generate global media attention and strengthen HAL’s reputation on the world stage. A royal endorsement, he argued, would symbolize a commitment to India’s self-reliance in aerospace technology and could attract international clients, boosting export prospects.
Acknowledging the Mysore royal’s existing commitments, Linganna urged prioritization of this opportunity, emphasizing its potential for substantial economic and strategic benefits. He highlighted the importance of showcasing indigenous innovation at a time when global stakeholders are closely watching Aero India.
With the event nearing its conclusion, all eyes are now on whether the royal family will accept the invitation, potentially making a historic statement for India’s aerospace ambitions.
