In a disturbing turn of events, an alleged member of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang has issued a threatening message to the Mumbai Traffic Police, demanding Rs 5 crore from Bollywood actor Salman Khan. The message warned that failure to pay would result in dire consequences for Khan, likening his fate to that of former Maharashtra minister Baba Siddique, who was recently shot dead.

The threat follows a violent escalation tied to Khan’s long-standing feud with Bishnoi, rooted in the 1998 incident involving the illegal hunting of blackbucks, an animal revered by Bishnoi’s community. Despite being incarcerated, Bishnoi has orchestrated high-profile attacks, including the murder of Punjabi singer Siddhu Moosewala.
Baba Siddique, a close associate of Khan, was killed outside his son’s office in Bandra on October 12, with authorities arresting four suspects linked to the crime. Shubham Lonkar, identified as a key conspirator, has claimed responsibility for the attack, asserting it was ordered by the Bishnoi gang.
In response to the escalating threats, Salman Khan has been granted Y+ security, and a significant police presence has been established at his residence, Galaxy Apartments. The Mumbai Police have also deployed AI-enabled CCTV cameras to enhance surveillance and security in the area.
