Bhagwat highlighted the significance of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, noting that its construction was driven by shared faith among Hindus rather than political motivations. However, he expressed concern over attempts to replicate similar issues elsewhere in the country, warning that such actions undermine the nation’s spirit of harmony.

His remarks come amid growing demands for surveys of mosques in search of hidden temples, sparking debates across the nation. While Bhagwat refrained from mentioning specific cases, his statement urged aspiring leaders to avoid exploiting religious sentiments for personal or political gain.

Calling for a focus on building a cohesive society, Bhagwat pointed to India’s history of peaceful coexistence, citing examples of interfaith observances. He encouraged citizens to learn from past mistakes and work towards positioning India as a global role model for unity.

The RSS chief’s address underscored the importance of maintaining balance between cultural identity and social cohesion in a diverse nation, advocating for dialogue over division.
