Cricketer Virat Kohli is on Cloud 9 as he equalled Sachin Tendulkar’s record of 49 ODI hundreds at Eden Gardens against South Africa on November 5. 

Even as the cricketer basks in the glory, cricketing giant and Kohli’s own role model, Sachin Tendulkar praised him for his feat. 

Well played Virat.

Well, Sachin paying glowing encomiums to Kohli is just one development. And even as the master blaster heaps praise, an old video of him predicting that Kohli or Rohit Sharma would break his record has gone viral. 

In the video, Salman Khan asks Tendulkar as to who he would think would break his records. And in a matter of seconds, pat comes the reply. 

“In my view those probable cricketers are sitting in this room. I can see those youngsters. Virat and Rohit are the ones. As long as an Indian breaks it, I don’t mind,” he said. 

However, this prophecy was made more than a decade ago in 2012 by the Bharat Ratna! 

As far as India’s campaign in the World Cup 2023 goes, they have remained undefeated right throughout the tournament and have stormed into the semis. 

The Sharma-led team have been a dominant team thus far, performing exceedingly well in all formats of the game.
