The post read, “We’re thrilled to welcome @SaiAbhyankkar, a rising star in the music industry, to #Suriya45.” The news follows reports speculating that AR Rahman might be taking a year-long hiatus from music composition. This development comes weeks after Rahman and his wife, Saira Bhanu, announced their separation after 29 years of marriage, citing emotional strain.
“Suriya 45,” directed by RJ Balaji, went on floors in late November and features cinematography by GK Vishnu. The film marks Balaji’s second directorial venture after Sorgavaasal. Suriya, last seen in Kanguva, is concurrently working on Suriya 44 with director Karthik Subbaraj, alongside Pooja Hegde and Joju George.
Sai Abhyankkar, known for his viral indie hits Katchi Sera and Aasa Kooda, has gained widespread acclaim in 2024. His film composition debut is set for Benz, part of the Lokesh Cinematic Universe.
Dream Warrior Pictures, which previously collaborated with Suriya on NGK, is backing the project. Meanwhile, Balaji is also gearing up for Happy Ending, produced by Million Dollar Studios, known for Tamil hits like Good Night and Lover. Fans eagerly await further updates on the project.
