As she gears up for the release of her upcoming film, Amaran, actor Sai Pallavi, accompanied by director Rajkumar Periasami, paid homage to the late Major Mukund Varadarajan at New Delhi’s National War Memorial. The tribute marked a solemn start to the promotional activities for the much-anticipated biopic, which chronicles the life of the brave soldier who lost his life in combat in Kashmir in 2014.

In photos shared from her visit, Pallavi expressed deep respect for Major Varadarajan and Sepoy Vikram Singh, two soldiers who made the ultimate sacrifice for the country. "I wanted to visit the National War Memorial before starting the promotions for Amaran,” she captioned. Reflecting on the memorial’s significance, Pallavi described it as a “sacred temple” where the names of countless soldiers who have given their lives for the nation are enshrined. She added, “I was brimming with emotions while paying respect to Major Mukund Varadarajan AC and Sepoy Vikram Singh SC. Gratitude and salutations.”

Amaran, starring Sivakarthikeyan as Major Mukund Varadarajan and Sai Pallavi as his wife, Indhu Rebecca Varghese, is set for an October 31 release, produced by Raaj Kamal Films International and Sony Pictures Films India. The film will debut during the Diwali weekend alongside other major releases, including Dulquer Salmaan's Lucky Baskhar, Kavin's Bloody Beggar, and Jayam Ravi's Brother.
