Saif Ali Khan returns home after hospital discharge; residence illuminated

Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan returned to his Bandra residence on Tuesday evening, five days after being hospitalized following a stabbing incident during an attempted burglary. His 12-storey building, Satguru Sharan, was lit up to celebrate his recovery, with photos of the illuminated residence circulating widely online.

Saif was admitted to Lilavati Hospital after being stabbed nearly six times by an intruder on January 16. The attack occurred in the early hours when the intruder broke into the actor's flat and entered the room of Saif and Kareena Kapoor’s youngest son, Jeh. A domestic staff member spotted the intruder and raised the alarm, helping to prevent further harm.

The accused, Mohammad Shariful Islam Shehzad, a Bangladeshi national, was arrested and is in police custody for five days. Police are investigating the incident, with Kareena and Saif’s staff member, Eliyamma Philip, playing a critical role as a key witness. Sources revealed that the couple plans to reward Philip for her bravery during the ordeal.

This high-profile security breach has raised concerns about residential safety in Mumbai. Authorities continue to investigate the motives behind the intrusion and are working to ensure stricter security measures are implemented in the area.
