In an exciting development for Bollywood fans, Sharman Joshi has joined the cast of Sikandar, the highly anticipated film produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and directed by AR Murugadoss, according to a report by Pinkvilla. The film, which stars Salman Khan and Rashmika Mandanna in lead roles, is slated for a grand Eid 2025 release.

Following the success of Kick in 2014, this marks a reunion between Salman Khan and Sajid Nadiadwala. Sikandar features an ensemble cast, including Sathyaraj, Prateik Babbar, and Kajal Aggarwal. Filming is currently underway in Mumbai, where a 45-day marathon schedule is in progress.

Sharman Joshi’s addition to the cast adds another layer of intrigue to the project. According to industry insiders, he plays a pivotal role in the film, forming a unique dynamic with Salman Khan’s character. Joshi has already begun shooting for his part, which is said to be central to the storyline.

The production team is currently filming on a lavish set in Mumbai, estimated to have cost Rs 15 crore. After wrapping up in Mumbai, the team will continue filming in Hyderabad. Music for the film is composed by Pritam and promises a mix of dance, romance, and emotional tracks.

Sikandar is on track to finish filming by December 2024, with Salman Khan set to move on to his next project with director Atlee.
