In a nostalgic celebration of one of Bollywood’s most beloved films, Salman Khan and Bhagyashree's iconic 1989 blockbuster Maine Pyar Kiya is set to return to the big screen on its 35th anniversary. The film, which originally released on December 29, 1989, will be showcased in select theatres across India, allowing fans to relive the magic that redefined love and romance in Indian cinema.

Directed by Sooraj Barjatya and produced by Rajshri Films, Maine Pyar Kiya became a cultural phenomenon, catapulting Salman Khan to superstardom and making Bhagyashree a household name. The film also featured notable performances by Alok Nath and Reema Lagoo, among others.

Rajshri Films, in announcing the re-release, shared nostalgic posters of the film, stating, "It's time to relive their 'Pyar Bhari Dosti' as #MainePyarKiya re-releases on 23rd August 2024 in selected PVRINOX Pictures and Cinepolis India theatres."

To commemorate Friendship Day on August 4, Bhagyashree shared an iconic clip from the film, capturing the heartwarming bond between Prem and Suman, the lead characters. The film’s memorable soundtrack, composed by Raamlaxman, with evergreen hits like 'Aate Jaate' and 'Kabutar Ja Ja Ja,' played a crucial role in its success, resonating with audiences for decades.
