Samantha Ruth Prabhu praises Ananya Panday's performance in cyber thriller CTRL

Bollywood actress Ananya Panday has been garnering widespread appreciation for her stellar performance in Vikramaditya Motwane's latest cyber-thriller, CTRL. Among those singing her praises is actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu, who gave a major shout-out to Ananya on social media.

Samantha took to Instagram to express her admiration, sharing a still from the film featuring Ananya. In her post, Samantha highly recommended CTRL, calling it "gripping from start to finish" and "exceptionally well-made." She lauded Ananya’s acting, writing, “You beauty, your performance was outstanding. It made me quickly grab my phone and uninstall several apps.” Samantha ended her post with congratulatory words for the entire CTRL team.

Directed by Vikramaditya Motwane, CTRL dives into the dark, often invasive, realities of the cyber world. The film stars Ananya Panday, Aparshakti Khurana, and Vihaan Samat, and is available on Netflix.

Critics, too, have praised the film. They remarked on Motwane’s ability to push genre boundaries, comparing CTRL to his earlier works like Trapped and Bhavesh Joshi Superhero.

Ananya Panday continues her streak of high-profile projects. She was recently seen in the series Call Me Bae, which features an ensemble cast and is directed by Colin D'Cunha.
