In what comes as a shock for the entire Sandalwood industry, builder-cum-film producer Soundarya Jagadish has passed away owing to a heart attack according to his family members. The incident took place in his residence in the Mahalakshmi Layout. It has now come to the forefront that the incident occurred during the early hours of 14th April. His body is in the Suguna Hospital in Rajarajeshwari Nagar.
He had a desire to launch his son in Sandalwood. He recently got his daughter married. Famous films such as Kollywood actor Abbas starrer Appu and Pappu, Sandalwood actor Chiranjeevi Sarja starrer Ramleela and Sandalwood actor Darshan Thoogudeepa starrer Snehitaru were produced by him. He was also the owner of the famous Jet Lag Pub.
Sources from the hospital indicate that he had committed. His body is reported to have been hanging in his residence. The reasons for this still remains to be a mystery. Losses in his business ventures may have been one of the reasons.
The police were apparently not aware of the suicide before media reports. The police would first visit the house to file a complaint before heading to the hospital.
