Arun Katare had a propensity to share reels on social media platforms. That has however landed him behind bars. A technician for Sandalwood films has also landed in trouble in relation to Arun Katare’s actions . He has been served a notice by the police.
Sahil had supplied dummy weapons to films such as Kichcha Sudeep-starrer Kabzaa and Shiva Rajkumar-starrer Mufti. Arun shot a reel after having procured these guns. He had even hired luxury guards. The guns were held by people dressed up as bodyguards. Officials from the Kothanur Police Station arrested Arun after his reel had become viral.

Guns designed to look like AK-47s were used to shoot the reel. The information about this was brought to the police’s notice by the citizens of Bengaluru. Arun was subject to an enquiry by the officials of the Kothanur Police Station. The inquiry confirmed that Arun had violated norms. It also led the police to Sahil who provided Arun the guns for this act. Whether Sahil was aware of what Arun would do once he got hold of the gun remains unknown at the moment. He would however present his side of the story to the police upon being summoned.
