Renowned filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali has locked the release date for his much-anticipated epic Love & War, featuring Bollywood stars Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and Vicky Kaushal.

The film, originally set for a Christmas 2025 release, will now hit theaters on March 20, 2026. This shift, announced via an official statement, strategically positions the film's debut during major festivals such as Ramzan, Ram Navami, and Gudi Padwa, promising a strong box office opening.

Bhansali’s project marks his second collaboration with Alia Bhatt, following the critically acclaimed Gangubai Kathiawadi, for which Bhatt earned a National Award. It also reunites Bhatt and Kaushal after their successful stint in Raazi. Meanwhile, Ranbir Kapoor teams up with Bhansali for the second time, having made his acting debut in the director’s Saawariya in 2007.

While details of the film's storyline remain tightly under wraps, fans are already abuzz with excitement. The movie was officially announced in January 2024, with Bhansali promising an epic saga. Shooting is set to begin in October 2024, with Kapoor leading the cast. Vicky Kaushal will join by mid-October, while Bhatt is slated to start filming in late December or early January 2025.
