‘Sankranthiki Vasthunnam’ breaks records on ZEE5 with historic viewership

Venkatesh-starrer Sankranthiki Vasthunnam has set a new benchmark in the OTT space, emerging as one of the biggest premieres on ZEE5. Released on March 1, the film garnered an overwhelming response, shattering previous records held by Hanu-Man and RRR.

According to ZEE5, the movie became the fastest to cross 100 million streaming minutes on the platform, achieving this feat in just 12 hours. During this period, over 1.3 million viewers tuned in, making it the most-watched debut for any film on the platform.

This unprecedented reception marks a record-breaking opening, fueling anticipation about the film’s further milestones in the coming days.

Directed by Anil Ravipudi, Sankranthiki Vasthunnam is a comedy-drama featuring Meenakshi Chaudhary and Aishwarya Rajesh in key roles. The film’s music is composed by Bheems Ceciroleo, while Sri Venkateswara Creations has produced the project.
