'Sarangapani Jathakam' teaser released by Vijay Deverakonda promises a blend of comedy and thrills

The teaser for Sarangapani Jathakam teases a unique mix of comedy and suspense, centering around the protagonist’s obsession with astrology, which ultimately leads to his downfall.

Priyadarshi, in the lead role, is surrounded by an impressive ensemble cast that includes Srinivas Avasarala, VK Naresh, Roopa Kodavayur, and Tanikella Bharani, each bringing a distinct flavor to the narrative.

Directed by Mohanakrishna Indraganti, this marks his third collaboration with producer Sivalenka Krishna Prasad, who previously teamed up with the director for Sammohanam and Gentleman. The film appears to offer a contemporary brand of humour blended with thrilling elements, with Vennela Kishore playing a significant role. This marks his second collaboration with Indraganti, following their successful partnership in Ami Thumi.

The teaser also hints at a storyline laced with horoscopic themes, underscored by Vivek Sagar’s music. The humour reflects the influences of iconic directors Jandhyala and EVV Satyanarayana, with comedy that feels organic rather than forced. Both Priyadarshi and Indraganti, known for their expertise in comedy, are expected to shine in their familiar zone.

With PG Vinda handling cinematography, Sarangapani Jathakam is set to hit theaters on December 20. Vijay Deverakonda, who launched the teaser, shared his excitement about the film, commenting on its intriguing premise and his past collaboration with Priyadarshi on Pelli Choopulu.
