Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has reportedly sustained an injury during the filming of an action sequence for his highly anticipated film King. The incident occurred at Mumbai’s Golden Tobacco Studio, where the team was shooting one of the film’s high-octane scenes.

Sources from the set confirmed that the actor suffered a muscle injury while performing a physically demanding stunt. Though the injury is not said to be critical, doctors have advised the 58-year-old actor to take complete rest for at least a month to allow for proper recovery.
Following medical consultation, Shah Rukh is expected to travel to the United States for further treatment and rest. The production team of King has temporarily paused the shoot and is reportedly rearranging the schedule to accommodate the actor’s recovery period.
King is one of the most awaited releases of 2026 and marks Shah Rukh Khan’s return in a full-fledged action role. The film has been generating immense buzz not just for its content but also because it is believed to be a father-daughter duo project, with Suhana Khan playing a key role alongside her father.
