In a significant milestone, Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has made his debut on the 2024 Hurun India Rich List with an estimated wealth of Rs 7,300 crore.

At 58, Khan’s financial success extends far beyond his illustrious acting career, underscoring his prowess in business and entertainment.

Khan, often referred to as the ‘King of the Indian Entertainment Industry,’ owes much of his wealth to strategic investments in the Kolkata Knight Riders, a successful IPL team, and Red Chillies Entertainment, his production company. The recent success of Kolkata Knight Riders, who clinched the IPL title last season, has further bolstered his financial standing.

Notably, Shah Rukh Khan also leads the rich list in terms of social media influence, boasting 44.1 million X followers, making him the most followed personality among the list’s billionaires and celebrities. Following him is actor Hrithik Roshan, who ranks second in social media influence with 32.3 million X followers.

Among other prominent figures in the entertainment industry, actress Juhi Chawla, who co-owns Kolkata Knight Riders with Khan, ranks second with a wealth of Rs 4,600 crore. Actor Hrithik Roshan follows with Rs 2,000 crore, largely fueled by his successful athleisure brand, HRX.

The Hurun India Rich List 2024, featuring 1,539 entrants, showcases the dynamic landscape of India’s wealth creators, from film stars to business magnates, highlighting the evolving economic trajectory of the nation.
