Shakti Dubey, hailing from Prayagraj in Uttar Pradesh, has secured All India Rank 1 (AIR 1) in the UPSC Civil Services Examination. Her inspiring journey to the top began in 2019 after completing her MSc in Biochemistry from Banaras Hindu University (BHU). Prior to that, she earned her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Allahabad and completed her schooling in her hometown.

In a widely shared mock interview, Shakti opened up about her background, highlighting her academic path and the years of commitment she invested in UPSC preparation. After finishing her post-graduation, she devoted herself entirely to cracking the Civil services, and her six-year long disciplined effort finally bore fruit. 

Shakti’s achievement also reflects a broader trend which is that female candidates once again showcased exceptional performances in this year’s UPSC results. Her determination, patience and consistency serve as a source of motivation for aspirants across the country. 

Alongside Shakti, several other notable candidates made their mark in the examination. These include , Harshita Goyal, Shah Margi Chirag, Aditya Vikram Aggarwal, and Ettaboyina Sai Shivani, all of whom demonstrated excellence in one of the nation’s most demanding competitive exams.
