Bollywood couple Shibani Dandekar and Farhan Akhtar, who tied the knot in an intimate ceremony at the Akhtar farmhouse earlier this year, recently shed light on their commitment to maintaining a healthy relationship through continuous therapy.

In a candid conversation on actress Rhea Chakraborty's podcast, "Chapter 2," Shibani shared insights into their therapeutic journey even after marriage.

Recounting a humourous anecdote, Shibani mentioned, "We got married on a Monday, and our next therapy session was scheduled for Wednesday. Our therapist was quite surprised to see us just 24 hours after our wedding, questioning why we were there so soon." This approach underscores their proactive stance on relationship maintenance, likening it to regular workouts at the gym.

The discussion also touched on Farhan's introspections about his previous marriage to Adhuna Bhabani, from which he has two children, Shakya and Akira. Farhan expressed his lingering guilt over the impact of the divorce on his children, describing them as "collateral damage" emotionally.

Currently, Farhan is immersed in filming for "120 Bahadur" in Leh, directed by Rajneesh Razy Ghai. Following this, he is set to direct "Don 3," featuring Ranveer Singh, marking another significant project in his career.

Shibani and Farhan's open conversation about therapy highlights a growing trend among celebrities to publicly discuss mental health and relationship dynamics, potentially setting a positive example for their fans.
