Shilpa Shirodkar opens up about rift with sister Namrata Shirodkar on Bigg Boss 18

Reality show Bigg Boss 18 continues to stir emotions as actress Shilpa Shirodkar revealed a personal conflict with her sister, Namrata Shirodkar, before entering the house. In a recent promo, Shilpa broke down while recounting the argument, expressing deep regret over not speaking to Namrata for two weeks.

The revelation unfolded during an interaction with filmmaker Anurag Kashyap, who appeared as a guest on the show. Kashyap remarked on Shilpa’s "diplomatic" nature in the house, prompting her to share her feelings of isolation. "I don’t have my own family to support me," Shilpa said emotionally.

When asked about her relationship with Namrata, who is married to Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu, Shilpa admitted, “We had a fight before I came here. I miss her a lot and hope she visits me.” Overcome with emotion, Shilpa shed tears, highlighting her longing for reconciliation.

This isn’t the first time Shilpa has spoken about her close bond with Namrata. In earlier episodes, she shared how she struggled to say goodbye before joining the show. Despite the rift, Namrata showed support on Shilpa’s birthday, November 20, penning a heartfelt note: “Happy Birthday to the best sister! Watching you every day on Bigg Boss 18, rooting for you to win the trophy!”
