Shiva Rajkumar’s screen presence in Rajinikanth starrer Jailer does not extend beyond 10-15 minutes. But this short time span was enough for the actor to leave an everlasting impression. Shivarajkumar plays the role of Narasimha. He plays a negative role in the film. But the audience were bowled over by his performance and are referring to him as “Hukum”. His entry scene is one of the moments that has been immemorial for the fans. He also makes an appearance in the pre climax portions of the film which complements the energy Superstar Rajnikanth brought to the screen. 

Shiva Rajkumar already has an established fanbase in Karnataka, but this time around his performance has gained him appreciation from Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana as well. Recently, he was spotted in a screening of the film in Mysuru. He met with enthusiastic fans and clicked selfies with them. It is being reported that he attended the event without any bodyguards by his side. Later on he had an interaction with the press. He spoke about his bond with the city of Chennai and the Tamil Language. He thanked director Nelson for portraying him in the right way and also for handling Rajnikanth by taking his age into consideration.
