On the eve of the landing of Chandrayaan-3, founder of Yuva Brigade, Chakravarthi Sulibele had made a post on Facebook. In the post, he had requested people to go to their nearby temple and offer prayers for the successful landing. He had also urged them to take a photo of the same and publish it online.
Responding to this, KPCC Social Media General Secretary, Sougandhika Raghunath had made a comment that although praying for this is noble, there was no need to publicise the same by posting about it on social media. She stated that the focus should be on praying that the efforts of the scientists bear fruit.
She has claimed that she was subject to a troll army hounding her for this comment. She claimed that she did not pay heed to it but a while later, Chakravarthi Sulibele himself replied to this comment stating that people are themselves taking the initiative to do so. “Ninage elli yaake uri banthu gothilla?(I do not know where and why you are burning),” he is claimed to have said. She claimed that he had subsequently deleted his comment and logged in with a fake id, named Heath Ledger to make it seem like he had not made the comment. She has claimed that this comment is abusive in nature depriving her of dignity. She has filed a comment with the Shivamogga police.
