BluSmart, once celebrated as a clean and dependable electric ride-hailing option in cities like Delhi-NCR, Mumbai and Bengaluru has unexpectedly paused its ride bookings. Users noticed that the app, though still functional, shows no available time slots, and there has been no official communication from the company. The disruption has left many loyal users, particularly families who had integrated BluSmart into their daily lives, feeling abandoned.

One touching post from a user highlighted how deeply BluSmart was trusted by his elderly parents in Delhi. They have stopped keeping personal drivers relying solely on BluSmart. Now, with the service unavailable, he expressed the pain of having to tell them, “Ab BluSmart nahi hai.”
Sensing the opportunity, Kislay Verma, founder of Bengaluru-based Shoffr, responded empathetically. He assured the user that Shoffr would be honored to serve their family. Verma also engaged warmly with other users who shared their disappointment, encouraging them to try Shoffr’s services instead.
Meanwhile, the halt in BluSmart’s operations appears to be linked to serious financial irregularities. SEBI, India’s market regulator, has accused Gensol Engineering Ltd. which is BluSmart’s parent company and its promoters of misusing company funds for personal benefits.
