Siddhant Chaturvedi and Malavika Mohanan’s action thriller, Yudhra, hit theaters on Friday, September 20. Directed by Ravi Udyawar, the film saw a decline in box office earnings on its first Tuesday, pulling in ₹ 59 lakhs on Day 5. According to industry tracker Sacnilk, the total collection now stands at ₹ 9.89 crore, with an occupancy rate of 8.45 percent for Hindi screenings on September 24.

In Yudhra, Chaturvedi portrays an angry young man named Yudhra, while Mohanan plays his girlfriend, Nikat. Raghav Juyal appears as the antagonist, Shafiq. The film is produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar under the Excel Entertainment banner.

Ahead of the film’s release, director Ravi Udyawar shared insights about Mohanan’s character, emphasizing her strength and complexity. “Malavika’s character is a very strong woman, transitioning from a soft, beautiful girl to a smart, confident individual. She undergoes emotional maturity, and that’s what I aimed to capture,” Udyawar noted in a statement to Filmfare.

As audiences react to the film, industry watchers will be keen to see if Yudhra can recover its momentum in the coming days.
