“In light of the passing of our esteemed former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh Ji, we regret to announce that the release of the Sikandar teaser has been postponed,” the statement read.

Directed by AR Murugadoss, Sikandar marks the first collaboration between Salman Khan and Sajid Nadiadwala since Kick. The film also stars Rashmika Mandanna, who shared her excitement about working on her first commercial Bollywood film. Speaking to Pinkvilla, Mandanna described the experience as “nerve-wracking” but rewarding, given the opportunity to work alongside Salman Khan.

A source close to the production revealed that Sikandar is among the most anticipated films of 2025, with its teaser serving as the launchpad for an extensive marketing campaign leading up to its Eid 2025 release. The campaign is set to include songs, a theatrical trailer, and other promotional content aimed at building excitement among cinema-goers.

The delay reflects the filmmakers' decision to honor Manmohan Singh’s legacy, highlighting the significance of his contributions to India as a respected economist and leader.
