Bangalore Fashion Week is gearing up for its 'silver jubilee edition'

Bangalore Fashion Week is gearing up for its ‘silver jubilee edition’ scheduled to take place from March 7 to 10, 2024. This milestone event aims to showcase the diverse talents of local designers in the metropolitan area and will be accompanied by an international edition set to unfold in London.

Having successfully organized 24 editions in Bengaluru thus far, the 25th edition is strategically designed to foster connections between fashion designers and trade buyers from both India and around the globe, as announced on the official Bangalore Fashion Week website.

The focus of the event will be on premium designers representing both western and traditional wear segments, presenting their collections tailored for the upcoming summer season.

Registration for models interested in participating in the upcoming edition is open through the event’s Facebook page. The grand affair is scheduled to unfold at The Oterra and will feature not only captivating runway shows but also an experience zone, workshops, seminars, and vibrant after-parties. Dream Merchants, an events management business responsible for organizing the fashion week, is also known for running the prestigious Miss Bangalore beauty pageant.

In September 2023, Bangalore Fashion Week celebrated its 24th edition in Bengaluru in collaboration with Wear Style at The Oterra. The event’s party partner was Great Indian Gin, and it was impeccably produced by Dream Merchants.

With an eye on international expansion, the fashion week has previously hosted editions in Bangkok, Thailand, and Dubai, catering to a global audience and attracting international buyers.
