Joining lakhs of Muslims from across the globe in the holy city of Mecca, Khader adhered to the Islamic tradition of resting on the ground en route from Medina, symbolising humility and the shedding of ego. This practice reinforces the belief that all humans return to the earth after death, regardless of status or wealth.
Khader, accompanied by close friends, observed the overnight stay like any other pilgrim, without privilege or exception. He offered special prayers for a society rooted in trust, a progressive Karnataka, and a strong, united India.
The Hajj pilgrimage, considered one of the five pillars of Islam, is not just a physical journey but a spiritual one. Islam teaches that the pilgrimage is a divine invitation—no matter one’s wealth, only those with pure hearts and righteous deeds are chosen by Allah to visit His house.
Millions of Muslims have converged in Mecca this season, immersed in devotion and prayer. Khader’s humble act underscores the unifying essence of Hajj, where worldly identities are set aside in pursuit of spiritual closeness to God.
