In what comes as uniquely refreshing, these corporate employees swapped their laptops for an intensely-fought football game at the Sports Centric Super League. Organized by Sports Centric, this five-day football tournament brought together 32 teams from some of the country’s leading companies, including Samsung, Oracle, and Epsilon.

The league was held at the GEAR Silver Jubilee TurfPark in Doddakannelli and aimed to provide a healthy outlet for stressed-out employees who are often bogged down by the challenges of meeting deadlines and targets.

With cash prizes and trophies up for grabs, the tournament saw enthusiastic participation. Teams competed fiercely, yet the focus remained on having fun and breaking away from the monotony of corporate life.

This is just the beginning, say organizers. Sports Centric plans to take this tournament to other parts of the state, aiming to create a tech-driven platform that keeps the corporate world actively engaged in sports.

For the participants, this was more than just a tournament. It was an opportunity to rejuvenate, bond with colleagues, and remember that life isn’t all about work.

After all, all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy! With events like this, corporate employees are reminded to kick back—literally—and enjoy life beyond deadlines.
