From endorsements to IPL deals, Indian stars dominate the 2025 highest-earning cricketers list, leaving foreign players far behind, with Virat Kohli once again leading the chart.
Indian cricketers have not only dominated the game on the field in 2025 but have also completely ruled the earnings chart off the field. This year, the world of cricket has clearly seen an “Indian monopoly” when it comes to money, with domestic stars pushing foreign cricketers to the sidelines in terms of income.
As runs flowed on the pitch, money poured into bank accounts. Endorsements, investments, IPL contracts and match fees together created massive wealth, making 2025 another landmark year for India’s cricket superstars.
Leading the list is Virat Kohli, who once again proved why he remains the biggest brand in world cricket. Despite retiring from T20 Internationals and Test cricket and restricting himself to only IPL and One-Day Internationals, Kohli’s market value has shown no decline.

According to estimates, Kohli earned around ₹300 crore in 2025 alone. More than 90 percent of this income came through endorsements and investment returns, placing him firmly at number one among the highest-paid cricketers.
At number two is Indian captain Rohit Sharma, who also limited his international appearances to ODIs and IPL. Rohit reportedly earned close to ₹180 crore in the year. His IPL contract with Mumbai Indians fetched him ₹16.30 crore, while his BCCI central contract added another ₹7 crore. The remaining income came from match fees and brand endorsements.
Rishabh Pant, despite not having a standout year with the bat, emerged as the third-highest earner in 2025. Pant made headlines early in the year after being picked by Lucknow Super Giants for a record ₹27 crore at the IPL auction. Overall, he is estimated to have earned around ₹120 crore this year, making him one of the top money-makers in Indian cricket.
Fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah followed closely at number four, crossing the ₹100 crore mark. Bumrah earned ₹18 crore from his IPL contract and ₹7 crore from the BCCI central contract. Nearly 75 percent of his total income came from match fees, endorsements and business partnerships.

Star all-rounder Hardik Pandya secured the fifth position with an estimated income of ₹90 crore in 2025. His earnings came from multiple sources, including BCCI contracts, IPL fees, match payments, endorsement deals and revenue from his own Hardik Pandya clothing brand.
The dominance of Indian players is underlined by the fact that Australia captain Pat Cummins, with an estimated income of ₹75 crore, is the only foreign cricketer to feature in the top 10 list. The rest of the chart is completely occupied by Indian stars, highlighting India’s growing financial power in global cricket.
