BCCI announces India-A squad for the upcoming ACC Rising Stars Asia Cup starting November 14 in Qatar; Jitesh Sharma named captain, Naman Dhir appointed vice-captain.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has officially announced the India-A squad for the upcoming ACC Rising Stars Asia Cup 2025, which will begin on November 14 in Qatar. The 15-member squad will be led by wicketkeeper-batter Jitesh Sharma, with Naman Dhir serving as the vice-captain.
The selection committee included several young and promising talents in the squad, highlighting India’s growing bench strength. One of the biggest talking points is the inclusion of 14-year-old Vaibhav Suryavanshi, making him one of the youngest players to represent India-A. Alongside him, Priyansh Arya has also been rewarded for his recent performances.
