Former Team India captain MS Dhoni arrived in Jaipur on a private visit on Saturday evening, drawing huge attention at the airport. Fans gathered in large numbers to catch a glimpse of the cricketing icon. Dhoni received a warm welcome, and a few lucky fans even managed to shake hands with him, creating memorable moments.

Bengaluru:

Indian batter Tilak Varma has begun full-fledged practice at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) as part of his preparation for the upcoming T20 World Cup. After undergoing surgery due to injury, Tilak has now fully recovered. He trained in the gym and also resumed batting and bowling sessions in the nets.

Mohali:

In the Ranji Trophy, Karnataka’s KL Rahul impressed with a solid half-century against Punjab. Returning to Ranji cricket after a year, Rahul opened the innings and played confidently, scoring 59 runs off 87 balls with nine boundaries at the Mohali Stadium.

In the same match, Karnataka trail Punjab by 54 runs at the end of Day Two. Punjab were bowled out for 309, after which Karnataka reached 255 for six wickets in their first innings. Shreyas Gopal remained unbeaten on 42, while Vidhyadhar Patil was on 23 at stumps.

Chennai:

The iconic Chepauk Stadium is now fully ready to host the T20 World Cup. After months of renovation work, the pitch and seating arrangements have been upgraded. No matches were held at Chepauk since the last IPL, but the venue is now set for international action.

WPL Update:

In the Women’s Premier League, Delhi Capitals are geared up for a crucial do-or-die clash against UP Warriorz today. A big win with an improved net run rate is essential for Delhi to qualify for the playoffs. Ahead of the match, the team underwent intense practice sessions.
