Sriimurali’s superhero flick ‘Bagheera’ OTT release speculated on Netflix

The Kannada superhero film Bagheera, starring Sriimurali, is set to make its much-anticipated OTT debut. Following a successful theatrical release on October 31, 2024, the film is expected to hit digital screens soon, providing fans with a chance to watch it from home.

Bagheera entered theaters amid tough competition, clashing with Sivakarthikeyan’s Tamil movie Amaran and Dulquer Salmaan’s Telugu movie Lucky Bhaskar. Despite the stiff rivalry, Bagheera performed commendably, grossing Rs 13 crore in its first four days at the Indian box office.

Directed by DR Suri and produced by Vijay Kiragandur, Bagheera is crafted on a budget of Rs 40 crore. The film follows a gripping storyline about a man who transforms into a superhero to deliver justice to those in need. With a cast including Sriimurali, Rukmini Vasanth, Prakash Raj, Rangayana Raghu, Achyuth Kumar, and Insane Ashraf, the movie has garnered positive reviews for its engaging narrative and intense performances.

Sriimurali had earlier shared the movie’s poster on Instagram, inviting fans to experience the superhero’s journey in cinemas. Now, with its OTT release speculated on Netflix, audiences can expect the digital launch roughly 30 to 40 days after its theatrical release. Bagheera will soon be available for streaming, expanding its reach to fans across the globe.
