Popular Kannada actor Kichcha Sudeep was seen in deep sorrow as he performed the final rites for his mother, Sarojamma, who passed away three days ago. Arriving with family members at Gosaighat in Srirangapatna, Mandya district, Sudeep immersed his mother’s ashes in the sacred Kaveri River.

Sudeep, visibly emotional, was moved to tears as he bid farewell to his beloved mother. Sarojamma had been suffering from pneumonia and was admitted to Apollo Hospital in Jayanagar, Bengaluru. Despite the efforts of medical professionals, she passed away on the morning of October 20. Her cremation was conducted according to Hindu traditions at Wilson Garden Crematorium.

Sudeep had requested that no photos or videos be taken during the intimate ceremony, preferring to keep the moment private. The actor and his family, after performing the ritual bathing in the Kaveri river, completed the rites early in the morning around 9 a.m.

Following the completion of the religious duties, Sudeep and his family returned to Bengaluru to continue mourning the loss of their matriarch. Sarojamma’s passing has left a deep void in the family, and fans have extended their heartfelt condolences to the grieving star.
