The highlight of the evening was Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s arrival and address to the enthusiastic crowd of 15,000 Indian-Americans from 42 states. The Prime Minister’s speech resonated with the community, marking a historic moment at the Nassau Coliseum.

Traditional performances were also a key feature of the event, with artists showcasing India’s rich cultural heritage. Highlights included the folk dance form Yakshagana, as well as Tamil Nadu’s Parai music and a captivating Mallakhamb demonstration.

The event underscored the strong cultural and diplomatic ties between India and the United States, with PM Modi set to attend several key meetings in New York, including a CEO Roundtable and the Summit of the Future today.
