Software Technology Park of India’s (STPI) upcoming incubation center is poised to invigorate the IT industry in Mysuru, heralding a potential influx of companies eager to establish their presence in the city.
This project, generously funded by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, is anticipated to breathe fresh life into the city's software sector, with an investment of ₹27.64 crore.
The facility will feature a 200-seat plug-and-play workspace for emerging businesses, alongside a 6,500 sq. ft. semi-furnished area.
Mysuru's Member of Parliament, Pratap Simha, conducted a site inspection and shared that the Union Minister of State for Electronics and Information Technology, Rajeev Chandrashekar, has agreed to inaugurate the center. The inauguration dates are pending and may coincide with the Dasara festival.
Built on 2.36 acres of land in the thriving industrial enclave of Hebbal, the STPI Mysuru Centre is strategically located near major IT giants like Infosys, L&T, Wipro, Kaynes Technology, SPI, Cynet DLM, as well as other MSME and SSI units.
The state-of-the-art technology incubation center will come fully equipped with modern amenities, including a server room, network operation center, discussion rooms, and a cafeteria.
The establishment of this new STPI building aligns perfectly with Mysuru's ongoing efforts to position itself as a preferred IT destination.
STPI envisions that this ecosystem will empower industries to launch new ventures, attract and retain talent in Mysuru, and expand their operations.
