'Stree 2' makes OTT debut: Rajkummar Rao-Shraddha Kapoor starrer now on Prime Video

Following an impressive box office performance, the much-anticipated horror-comedy Stree 2, starring Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor, has now premiered on Amazon Prime Video. After a successful 42-day theatrical run that garnered both critical acclaim and audience appreciation, the film is set to reach a broader audience through its OTT release.

Stree 2 captured attention with its unique blend of horror and humour, set against the backdrop of rural India, which contributed significantly to its box office success. The film grossed a massive ₹608.37 crore during its 41-day run, surpassing the lifetime earnings of Jawan's Hindi version, which collected ₹583.21 crore at the domestic box office.

For those eager to watch the film online, Stree 2 is available for rent on Prime Video for ₹349. Viewers will have 30 days to start watching the film and 48 hours to complete it once started. The film is expected to be made available for free on the platform soon.

Directed by Amar Kaushik and produced by Jio Studios and Maddock Films, Stree 2 also stars Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee, and Aparshakti Khurana in key roles. Meanwhile, the original Stree (2018) can be streamed on Disney+ Hotstar.
