Sudeep responds to allegations of platforming trolled individuals in Bigg Boss

During the press conference in the lead up to Bigg Boss 10 that would premiere starting October 8th, a journalist asked Sudeep about the parameters for selection in Bigg Boss and the rationale behind giving a platform about individuals who have been trolled on social media platforms. “Please take names. I am ready to wait for another half an hour. It’s my request. I will come to you. Give me 4 names,” a visibly annoyed Sudeep asked the journalist. 

Suddep walked up to the journalist and further pushed him for the names. The journalist however remained vague and did not provide him with the same. “They have parents. They have spouses. We do not know what has happened inside their homes. This is a platform to cleanse oneself. They can prove themselves. Kindly be responsible,” Sudeep mentioned. 

Sudeep went ahead to elaborate on the ethics of the show and the need for professional conduct. “Even law allows for redemption. Where is our humanity? How is it that we give opportunities to people? If they earn a bad reputation even within the show, they might earn an opportunity elsewhere to prove themselves. When did we become so inhumane and when did your questions become so crude? Even you hesitated because you know the moment you are taking names you are killing 4 personalities outside. We are nobody to judge,” he expressed. 

Drone Prathap and Sonu Srinivas Gowda are some of the rumoured names for contestants of Bigg Boss season 10.
