Suraj Revanna faces another charge of sexual harassment from person who filed case against the first complainant

Member of Legislative Council (MLC) from the Janata Dal (Secular) (JD(S)) Suraj Revanna’s close aide’s action has shocked him. The close aide had earlier filed a complaint against the person accusing Suraj of sexual harassment. He has however now come forward to state that he too has been a victim of sexual harassment from Suraj Revanna. 

Suraj Revanna will be in the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) custody until July 1st over the allegations of sexual harassment made against him. Amidst this, a second allegation of a similar nature has increased troubles for Suraj.

Shivakumar alleged that Suraj sexually harassed him when the nation was under lockdown due to Covid-19 pandemic. He further stated that the complaint he filed against the first complainant was due to pressure exerted on him by Suraj. A case has been filed under Section 377, 342 and 506 of the IPC in the Hassan Rural police station. This marks the second case against Suraj in the Holenarasipura Police Station. “I am a JD(S) worker. I have known Suraj for 7 years. I have filed a complaint against Suraj and his aides Sachin and Rakshit. What has happened to me is injustice,” Shivakumar said.
