Suraj Revanna sodomy case: Did the victim blackmail him for Rs 5 crore? Counter complaint lodged

Suraj Revanna, second son of Hassan MLA Revanna, and the younger brother of rape accused former Hassan MP Prajwal Revanna is in the news now allegedly sodomising a a JD(S) worker. The worker travelled all the way from Hassan and met top officials to lodge a complaint in this regard. The incident allegedly took place on June 16.

In his complaint, he has stated that the accused threatened him not to reveal it to anyone. At the same time, he had even offered a sum of Rs 2 crore to the victim with an intention to silence him. 

The other side of the story 

Now, Suraj Revanna has filed a counter complaint against the complainant saying he sought Rs 5 crore in the name of gay sex. He has also said that the complainant has threatened to besmirch Revanna family’s reputation using this as a prop. Filed through his close aide Shivakumar, it is said that the JD(S) worker met Suraj and told him that there are others who are ready to pay him. It is also said that Suraj did not get him a job. 

Furthermore, it is said that the JD(S) worker openly declared that he would spoil the reputation of the family by approaching the media.
