Bollywood actress Tanushree Dutta, who triggered the #MeToo movement in India back in 2018, has once again drawn attention to her personal struggles. In a recent emotional video shared on Instagram, she tearfully appealed for help, claiming she has been facing continuous harassment within her own home for the past four to five years.

Dutta alleged that unknown individuals frequently disturb her by ringing her doorbell day and night, despite putting up a "Do Not Disturb" sign. She added that strange noises have become a constant source of stress, affecting her physical and mental well-being. She also spoke about difficulties in hiring domestic help, claiming that suspicious individuals are being sent to her home, some of whom have allegedly engaged in theft and misconduct.

“I called the police today. They came and advised me to file an official complaint at the station,” she said in the video. She added that she would likely visit the police station soon. “My health is deteriorating. I can’t even manage basic chores,” she explained.
In the video caption, Dutta wrote, “This has been happening since 2018, after the MeToo movement. Please help me before it’s too late.”
In 2018, Dutta had accused veteran actor Nana Patekar of sexual harassment during a film shoot. However, Mumbai police later gave Patekar a clean chit, citing lack of evidence.
