In a groundbreaking move, Tata-owned Vistara has become the first Indian airline to offer complimentary Wi-Fi on its international flights. Passengers across all cabins can enjoy 20 minutes of free internet access, with the option to purchase additional time using Indian credit or debit cards.

The onboard Wi-Fi is powered by Panasonic Avionics, ensuring reliable connectivity at 35,000 feet for Wi-Fi-enabled devices. Beyond the complimentary access, Vistara also provides various paid Wi-Fi plans. Club Vistara members benefit from a free chat facility throughout their journey, while other passengers can avail of unlimited messaging for Rs 372.74 plus GST.
For those wishing to browse the internet, the airline offers a plan at Rs 1577.54 plus GST, which includes embedded audio and video streaming. An unlimited data package is available for Rs 2707.04 plus GST, catering to the needs of more data-intensive users.
Vistara's fleet comprises 70 aircraft, featuring 53 Airbus A320neo, 10 Airbus A321neo, and 7 Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner planes. Since its inception in 2015, the airline has transported over 65 million passengers, solidifying its position in the aviation industry.
This initiative marks another milestone for Vistara, a joint venture between Tata Sons Private Limited and Singapore Airlines Limited (SIA), as it continues to enhance its service offerings for international travelers.
